Network Administrator

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Network Administrator on behalf of our client, a leading IT services provider in Oregon! This is an exciting 6-month onsite contract where you’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing network infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and seamless connectivity across systems.

• Long-term, onsite contract in Oregon
• Collaborative work culture with an experienced IT team
• Rate: $35-40/hour DOE

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Monitor and optimize network performance using network monitoring tools
• Collaborate with ISP providers, including Comcast Business, to resolve connectivity issues and ensure network reliability
• Implement network security measures to protect infrastructure and data integrity
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, updates, and processes

• 7 years of experience in network administration (preferred, but open to experience levels)
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, network monitoring tools, and security best practices
• Experience coordinating with ISPs for troubleshooting and network management
• Proficiency in configuring and optimizing routers, switches, and wireless networks
• Familiarity with business network environments and IT infrastructure best practices
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with internal teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
