- Collaborate with department and institutional faculty to contribute to curriculum development, educational strategies, and professional development opportunities.
- Evaluate student progress through consistent assessments, providing feedback and maintaining comprehensive records of performance and attendance.
- Develop, deliver, and update course syllabi, ensuring they meet academic standards and align with institutional objectives and grading criteria.
- Prepare and implement engaging instructional materials for lectures, labs, and clinical settings, adapting to evolving technologies.
- Lead classroom and clinical instruction, ensuring adherence to institutional policies, including grade submission, office hours, and assignment deadlines.
- Participate in department and college-wide assessments, evaluations, and surveys to enhance the quality of education and student outcomes.
- Engage in college activities and committees, including professional development, faculty governance, accreditation efforts, and community functions.
- Contribute to decision-making processes, including academic and instructional matters related to texts, assignments, and grading standards.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities by actively mentoring students and engaging in collaborative efforts within the academic community.
- A Bachelors degree in Radiography or a closely related field and a Masters degree or further advanced education.
- Certification in radiography (e.g., ARRTR or equivalent).
- At least three years (6,000 hours) hands-on clinical practice in the radiography field.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a clinical or academic environment.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering innovative, technology-driven curriculum for both in-person and online formats.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate interactive and engaging classes.
- A proven commitment to fostering cultural competence and ensuring students grow as ethical, knowledgeable, and capable professionals.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills with an ability to engage in professional development and academic collaboration.
- Experience with curriculum design, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Willingness to serve as the academic program director.
- Previous experience in college-level teaching and developing courses at the academic level.
- Experience with online instruction and utilizing e-learning platforms.
