Scion is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I - ASPX on behalf of our client. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on web application development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build custom ASPX components within an existing framework. The ideal candidate will have experience with ASPX development, JavaScript, and Microsoft Transact-SQL.

- $60 hourly, 40 hrs a week

What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with the development team and key stakeholders to design, build, and test new ASPX components.
- Participate in an agile workflow, including estimating project timelines, attending daily standups, and engaging in code reviews.
- Maintain code integrity, organization, and best practices.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience developing ASPX pages for web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, and HTML5.
- Strong understanding of relational database models and experience with Microsoft Transact-SQL.
- Experience with VB.NET is a plus.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to success.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and inquisitive mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Ability to commute to the Danbury, CT office.
