Position Overview

Scismic is supporting the growth of an exciting global company in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking a leader for the Microbiology Department to drive operational excellence, quality systems, and innovation. The role includes establishing policies, supervising teams, optimizing processes, and providing technical support to internal teams and clients. Key focus areas include improving operational efficiency, maintaining scientific integrity, and delivering customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microbiology or Quality Control and Testing
• Proven experience leading high-performing technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Microbiology Department and build a strong team.
• Drive productivity, talent development, and safety adherence.
• Optimize operations for speed and quality.
• Collaborate across departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Care, R&D).
• Act as a technical expert to support internal teams and clients.
• Ensure proper SOP and protocol compliance.
