The Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center is looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join the team!

 

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting the FOM with the operation of the Front Office in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish and maintain attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient hospitality at the Front Desk.
  • Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk or through Reservations, in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance to brand and company training standards.
  • Assist in training of Front Desk personnel.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate efficiency, monitor credit report, and maintain close observation of daily house count. 
  • Ensure that no-show revenue is maximized through consistent and accurate billing.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, employees, and other departments.
  • Operate all aspects of the Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple programming.
  • Monitor proper operation of P.B.X. and ensure that employees follow proper telephone etiquette.
  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with hotel staff. Ensure the proper use of radio etiquette within the department.
  • Ensure correct and accurate cash handling at the Front Desk.
  • Attend monthly all-employee team meetings and any other functions required by management.
  • Follow and enforce hotel credit policies.
  • Monitor all V.I.P.'s, special guests and requests.
  • Review Front Office logbook and Guest Request log daily.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of  supervisory experience in a full service hotel. 
  • OnQ experience  preferred.
