What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Scofflaw Group?
SCOFFLAW is looking for a bartender to join our team! Scofflaw is a gin-focused neighborhood cocktail bar. We have a wonderful seasonal cocktail program in addition to a chef-inspired culinary program. Currently open at 5pm during the week, and 11am for brunch on Saturday and Sunday's. Closing at 2am Friday/Saturday and 1am the remainder of the week.
We seek professional, disciplined people who have an enthusiasm for warm hospitality, focusing on memorable moments and details to make a great guest experience. People who are excited for food and beverage, who will rise to the challenge of maintaining our high standards, and who will be dedicated to learning new things and sharing them enthusiastically with our guests.
Bartenders at Scofflaw need to have classic cocktail knowledge, an active interest in learning more about spirits and cocktails, and experience delivering genuine, attentive hospitality to guests.
Bartenders are responsible for setting up the bar, prep, taking and filling beverage orders, ringing in food, and clearing the bar. Applicants must be available at least 2-3 shifts during the week and have at least 2 years of cocktail bartending experience. Bartender shifts average 10 hours in length, and we are seeking coverage for 2-3 shifts a week in coverage. We would welcome one flexible part time candidate who meets our current scheduling needs. Staff reaching 30 hours per week are eligible for Blue Cross Insurance plans with employer contribution.
