Paraprofessional - Up To $23/Hr (San Bernardino)

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms

• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care

• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment

• Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)

•  Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed

• Listening to your needs and preferences before matching you with assignments

• Providing you your very own designated Scoot consultant - most of our consultants are former educators so they are able to provide advice based on their previous experience

• Doing 1:1 check-ins and discussing positive and constructive school feedback with you

• Earn up to $23/hr for short term assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on credentials, the school, and the assignment, we strive to pay the highest rates among substitute providers.

Application requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits

• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor

• Take a TB Risk Assessment & Background check (we'll reimburse the cost of the Background Check you do with Scoot!)

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Experience working in K-12 schools

• Spent time in Special Education settings

• Worked with children who have Special Education needs

• Any Special Education specific training

• ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)
