Production Planner
π Location: Whippany, NJ (Onsite, 5 days a week)

About the Role
The Production Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing production plans for assigned product lines, ensuring alignment with the monthly revenue plan. This role requires close coordination with procurement, manufacturing, and engineering teams to optimize scheduling, track key performance metrics, and drive on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and release production schedules based on MRP demands.
- Plan and manage end-to-end production from design through procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipping.
- Work with complex Bill of Materials (BOMs) to determine material requirements.
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure material availability and minimize delays.
- Monitor shop orders, adjust schedules, and ensure timely order closure.
- Analyze KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory levels, production efficiency) and present insights to leadership.
- Support compliance with military/government regulations and engineering change orders.
- Ensure ERP system data accuracy (IFS or equivalent).
Required Qualifications
β 4β10 years of experience in Production Planning.
β Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Military Manufacturing (must have military/government contract experience).
β Strong proficiency in ERP systems (IFS or equivalent).
β Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
β Experience tracking and analyzing KPIs related to production planning.
β Strong attention to detail and ability to work in highly regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
β Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (preferred).
β Experience managing data-driven production planning and presenting insights.
β APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
