What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class Action/Complex Litigation Associate position at Scopelitis Law Firm?
Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, LLP is looking for an attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join the Firm’s Chicago office in the Firm’s Class Action & Complex Litigation practice. The attorney filling this role can expect approximately 75% federal court work with the vast majority of work involving defense of wage & hour class actions and FLSA collective actions.

The Firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical/HSA, dental, vision, life, disability, family care leave, 401k/profit sharing retirement package and pet insurance. Employees are also eligible to work a hybrid schedule of three days in the office with up to two days per week working from home. The Firm will supply the necessary computer and accessory equipment to facilitate this hybrid work schedule. Pay is budgeted at $150,000 to $170,000 with annual increases based on performance reviews.
