The incumbent will assist the EHS manager to assist in all facets of environmental and safety compliance and associated activities stated below.

Qualifications
- Minimum of Associates degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field, Bachelors preferred, degree in Environmental Engineering will also be considered
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in safety related capacity;
- Must be knowledgeable and understanding of OSHA, WDNR, and EPA rules and regulations and training requirements;
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record;
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours;
- Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and installation of a comprehensive employee environmental, safety and health (EHS) program with the goal of reducing work related accidents and injuries
- You will provide administration support for the EHS programs and be responsible for the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of all safety policies and procedures for the region
- Assist in periodic plant safety audits/inspections; prepare reports of any findings with recommendations for corrective action(s)
- Maintain all regulatory permits, certifications, and licenses that pertain to plant operations
- Co-lead the Environmental Compliance Program to assure compliance with all environmental permits and permit related activity
- Maintain and report environmental auditing, compliance, and training metrics to senior management
- Keep stormwater plans, permitting, and DMR reporting paperwork up-to-date
