An employee in this class is responsible for the administrative and technical management of the child support unit, SCATS unit, reception unit and sub income maintenance programs which includes the low income energy assistance program (LIEAP), crisis intervention program (CIP) and Medicaid transportation.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Plans work operations, sets priorities, sets deadlines, and establishes goals for sub income maintenance programs (LIEAP, crisis intervention program, Medicaid transportation), reception unit, child support unit and SCATS unitReports directly to the Department Director Evaluates and documents staff performance on a probationary, monthly, and annual basisParticipates in the recruitment and hiring process of new staffProvides administrative oversight of casework Participates in a limited capacity for budget preparation and monitoringPerforms other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty
