Employee demonstrates and implements techniques of nursing care and counsels for promotion of health and prevention of disease in clinics and other standard settings within an assigned area.

Provides direct patient care and collects and reports basic patient dataPerforms assessment, counseling, education and documentation for patient health issues, needs and concerns Triages telephone callsConsults with clinician as needed Assesses needs for laboratory testsMaintains client confidentiality per HIPAA regulations or Health Department ProtocolsPerforms other duties as assigned
