What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist position at Scotland Memorial Hospital?
This position works with government agencies, third party payers, Medical Staff Coordinator and Managed Care Director, CHS MHR, and our medical providers to initiate enrollment and credentialing applications, maintain recredentialing and updates for individual providers and entities and subgroups of SMH, SRHN, and EMC.
Qualifications include high school graduate; Associate's degree preferred; excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications; previous experience in office setting; excellent organization, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
