Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Scotland Health Care System. This role is responsible for recruiting both clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring we attract and retain top talent to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong creative and critical thinking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows and contributes to recruitment strategies set by Sr. Clinical Recruiter to attract qualified clinical and non-clinical candidates.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, updating job postings and descriptions into standard format.
- Daily sourcing of applications and assist in interview processes as needed.
- Make offer of employment for all positions managed within the Human Resources office within 48 business hours with support of Sr. Clinical Recruiter
- Produce offer letters and create onboarding process for new hires.
- Work with Manager of Compensation, Benefits and Wellness to identify appropriate sign on bonus and referral bonus program qualifications.
- Generate all pre-employment check including reference check.
- Maintain process for status changes to fill positions appropriately i.e. ensure positions, department, rate of pay, status etc.
- Initiate changes to available positions reports
- Serves as a back up for Sr. Clinical Recruiter at events and presentations.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and human resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical and non-clinical roles within a hospital environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
