PART-TIME
We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team at our long time Family-owned Flower Shop. The ideal candidate will have a love for flowers and a keen eye for design, ensuring that every arrangement meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing exceptional service while maintaining the shop's overall appearance.

Responsibilities

• Create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences and budgets.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, ensuring all displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Process incoming flower shipments, including unpacking, trimming stems, and storing flowers properly to ensure freshness.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable advice on flower care and arrangement options.
• Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal displays and promotional events.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Clerical work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of flower types, care techniques, and arrangement styles is a plus.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 30 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
