Overview:
Hiring a skilled Preconstruction Manager with approximately 10 years of industry experience to join leading ENR-ranked national and regional general contractors. You will manage preconstruction phases for mid-to-large-scale projects primarily within Industrial (tilt wall, warehouses), Data Centers, and Commercial, Mixed-Use markets. Typical project sizes range from $5M to $75M .
Responsibilities:
- Manage the estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction process from early design stages through project award.
- Collaborate closely with design teams, subcontractors, and operations to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and timely project planning.
- Conduct subcontractor bidding, analysis, and selection; negotiate scopes of work and pricing.
- Provide value-engineering recommendations to optimize project costs and schedules.
- Present detailed proposals clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant construction experience, with at least 5 years specifically in estimating and preconstruction.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $5M to $75M within industrial, data center, or commercial sectors.
- Knowledge of construction delivery methods (Design-Build, CMAR, General Contracting).
- Proficient with industry-standard software (Procore, Bluebeam, OST, Timberline).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred, but not required.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-relationship management skills.

Compensation:
