Position Overview: The Vice President of Sales will oversee the sales department, drive revenue growth, and manage key client relationships for the company's Steelcase product line. This individual will provide strategic direction, lead the sales team, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure the company meets its revenue and market share goals. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the office furniture industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Steelcase products to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a high-energy, results-driven sales culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including architects, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions using Steelcase products.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead efforts to expand market presence.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient processes and effective use of CRM systems.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with at least 10 years of experience, ideally within the office furniture, design, or architecture industry.
- Deep knowledge of Steelcase products and their applications in commercial environments is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and drive a sales team to exceed goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while also executing on day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale sales operations and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales analytics, and performance management systems.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is a plus.
