Position Overview:
- Efficiently perform manual labor requiring the use of hand-held or automated surface preparation equipment positioned at the proper angle to effectively remove scale, rust, oil, grease or other surface contaminants in preparation for protective coatings application.
- Assure blasted surfaces are clean and uniform per visual standards.
- Mix and meter blasting media to achieve customer requirements or Company standards.
- Apply protective masking as required to protect critical surfaces.
- Operate a forklift, handle or position materials.
Every employee is expected to:
- Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and documentation of quality control and material movement.
- Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping.
- Perform self-inspection and other required quality control functions at the employee’s workstation.
- Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machinery, equipment and respirators operated.
- Train and/or assist in the development of personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour days
- 2nd shift - Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting wage $20 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift premium
