As the Discipleship and Central Office Coordinator, you are a vital part of the Team, responsible for carrying on the Vision, Mission, and Values of SBC. In this role, you will report to the Executive Coordinator to the Executive Pastor and are responsible for handling all organization and implementation of day-to-day administrative duties and cross-team coordination for Central projects and initiatives, as well as administratively supporting the Pastor of Enrichment
Your Essential Responsibilities :
In this position, you will :
- Provide administrative and ministry support to the Pastor of Enrichment.
- Provide administrative and ministry support for the Central Office, including office supply inventory and ordering, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide overflow administrative support for other Central staff as needed.
- Provide administrative and ministry support for The Church and Race.
- Manage calendars for the Pastor of Enrichment, including weekly schedule, appointments, and related ministry events.
- Manage correspondence from staff and church attendees.
- Recruit, nurture, and deploy volunteers in regular administrative projects as needed.
- Manage credit card statements for Pastor of Enrichment.
- Provide a welcoming and helpful front door for requests from staff, elders, and attendees.
- Work closely with other Central teams (Human Resources, Risk Management, Security, Facilities, Finance, etc.) as needed.
- Support and manage Central events as needed.
- Articulate church vision, mission, and strategic initiatives in communications.

In this position you will be onsite Monday-Thursday and telecommute Friday.
This is a full time position scheduled between 32 and 40 hours per week.
