Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and food handling, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food costs and implement strategies for efficient food management.
  • Assist in the development of special events or catering menus as needed.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling practices, and kitchen management principles.
  • Experience in inventory management and control processes is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
