Duties & Responsibilities

‐ Handle operational responsibilities on critical wells and demonstrate attributes of sound judgment,

dependability, honest work ethic and leadership

‐ Identify top performing contractors in terms of cost, job performance, and reliability

‐ Execute well service with sense of urgency

‐ Identify potential DT issues during projects and replace

‐ Identify potential reactivation candidates and report to supervisor/engineering

‐ Coordinate the timely ordering of required well materials, equipment and services according to the program

‐ Execute well service with sense of urgency

‐ Identify potential reactivation candidates and report to supervisor/engineering

‐ Coordinate in cooperation with production engineers, operations personnel and HSE for effective and efficient work environment

‐ Responsible and accountable for the work site for all company and contract personnel

‐ Aware of lease costs in daily workover activities

‐ Use best cost vendors on projects; bids work when applicable

‐ Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Superintendent

Skills & Specifications

‐ Ability to work with a diverse team

‐ Must have detailed knowledge in well control operations

‐ Must have the knowledge in well completion and different oil/gas well intervention methods such as Coiled Tubing, E‐line, and Slickline

‐ Must have the knowledge in other oil/gas wells operations such as flowback through temporary testing equipment, HP pumping for fracturing

‐ Has basic computer skills; data entry into various electronic databases

‐ Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures

‐ Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude

‐ Maintains good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility

‐ Must know yield limits on equipment before executing certain job task

‐ Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi‐tasking, customer service minded environment

‐ Must have detailed knowledge of safety related aspects to oil/gas well intervention operation

‐ Extensive knowledge of ESP, surface equipment, EHS regulatory, stimulation techniques, and engineering design are examples

Education & Qualifications

‐ Must be certified in well control

‐ Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (may be required in some locations)

‐ Legally authorized to work in the United States

‐ Able to pass a pre‐employment drug and background check

‐ Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state‐certified program

‐ Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred

‐ Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required

‐ Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred

‐ Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs

‐ Capable of rigorous outdoor activities and have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and light industrial equipment
