This company is a true innovator in the Gen AI space, they have taken a solid recent funding round and are now looking to extensively scale across the US, they have a standalone offering within their area of the AI world and are setup to be an out and out leader in the space.
The Role:
They are looking for a proven VP Sales to join a dynamic early GTM team. In this role, you'll be influential in nurturing, building and enabling a global sales team from its embryonic phase through to full scale. This person will be responsible for leading from the front in terms of sales, this is a true VP role, but they are also looking for someone who is not afraid to take a prominent role in the sales process on their most prominent deals. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of Gen AI. π²πββοΈ
What Youβll Be Doing:
- Lead enterprise sales efforts while managing a global team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and BDRs.π
- Contribute to shaping the companyβs go-to-market strategy as part of the management team.π«°
- Drive team performance to meet and exceed quotas, while providing coaching to ensure success. Execute the companyβs GTM strategy alongside your team.π€
- Oversee sales operations, including pipeline reviews, joint customer calls, and account planning, focusing on both acquiring new business and growing existing accounts.πΌ
- Develop scalable systems for pipeline management and performance tracking, establishing efficient processes for prospecting, discovery, and closing deals.π―
- Take ownership of sales forecasting and pipeline management, track and optimize key sales metrics and activities, ensure consistent use of CRM and maintain data integrity and generate and analyze sales performance reports.
What Theyβre Looking For:
- 2/3 years' experience in sales leadership team management/building.π
- Based in New York (2/3 days per week in the office). βοΈ
- Strong background working in the AI/ML space (Gen AI/Deep Tech in particular)π₯
- Hands-on seller player coach.π
- Early-stage startup experience.π₯
