What you'll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Training of the Logistics team members/team leaders/supervisors/specialists/technicians
- Developing training for Logistic fundamental skills needed in a Logistic (Inhouse/Inbound) environment.
- Serves as Master Trainer for Fundamental Skills basic training modules for the Logistics department
- Developing training for process and quality improvement.
- Identifies annual training needs and training gaps in the Logistics department and throughout organization.
- Planning and facilitation of the training, qualification, recording of documentation including retention of records using both the LMS and/or other tracking systems.
- Negotiate with Department management, develop and announce training schedule.
- Issues certification of competence for the position for Logistics Team Members.
- Investigate equipment requirements and develop proposal for budget planning.
- Develop Training curriculum and Introduce training data into a learning management system.
- Collect and evaluation of data, analyze that data.
- Conduct performance gap analysis/problem solving to determine the root cause of defects.
- Support teams in problem solving activities.
- Participate in CIP workshops to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- High school diploma, Bachelor's degree
- Adaptability to work any outside of normal office hours
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Experience in Training of Logistics production Team members/team leaders/supervisors/specialists/technicians
- Experience in Lean Management: Six sigma, Production Systems, lean principles
- Documentation that verifies the following: Employment letters and training records; and manufacturing or automation experience
- Problem solving skills
- Production system skills, 5s
- Coordination and communication skills

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $95,000-$115,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
