Position Summary
Sack Capital Partners is looking for an experienced Porter/Maintenance Technician who can support a site within our South Bay portfolio, specifically, Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds. Other experience with basic plumbing, electrical, appliance problem solving and general carpentry are desirable. This position requires interaction with residents as well as vendors and other team members. A successful candidate will be a good problem solver and a self-starter. This position reports directly to the General Manger.

Essential Responsibilities and Functions
- Responsible for consistent and exemplary upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exterior and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
- Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
- Prepares property trash for scheduled pick-up.
- Assists in the preparation of units, including removal of trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
- Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models
- As needed, assists in the troubleshooting/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems
- Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to designated Maintenance staff or General Manager
- Meticulously maintains curb appeal
- Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property
- Delivers communication documentation to residents
- Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner
- Learns and ensures compliance with all firm, local, state, and federal safety rules
- Perform all other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Basic proficiency of reading and writing of the English language
- Minimum one year fulltime related experience
- Willingness to perform all required tasks
- Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits
- Ability to professionally represent the company
- Able to work on call (as necessary and/or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after hours and weekends)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to interact effectively with coworkers and residents
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
