Description:
Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. As an Accounting Specialist you will be working within the dealership accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, finance, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- In-depth working knowledge of daily dealership accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, finance reserve, deal posting, rebates and incentives, cash
- Perform various accounting functions
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile accounts on a weekly/monthly basis
- Assist in monthly and year end closings
- Ability to interact with multiple departments concurrently and problem solve
- Other duties as assigned
- Prior automotive accounting experience preferred
- Experience with CDK preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines
