Role and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities may include but not limited to cleaning and preparing for a project, loading and delivering materials and using a variety of tools and machines, such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment. May be asked to set up and/or take down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structure
- Ability to remove electrical equipment, cables, wood and fibers of all kinds and properly dispose of material
- Ability to properly drain and empty out equipment that may contain liquids
- Ability to load and unload baskets, containers, boxes and/or trucks
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety requirements in a scrap yard environment, including use of proper PPE
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
- Must pass employee physical and drug screen
- Ability to walk more than 1000 yards
- stand for extended periods of time
- ability to lift and carry no more than 50 lbs
