The site-based float pool (SBFP) floats to ICU/PCU at Scripps Memorial Encinitas.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care within the scope of their practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care and evaluation of the patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and policies.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
This is an ideal position for a flexible RN who is willing to be adaptable and flexible. Although you will not have a home base, you will still feel like you are part of the community at Scripps Memorial Encinitas where you get to engage and experience a wide variety of patients.
Requirements:
- One (1) year of RN experience.
- Current CA RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association.
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN.
- One year of acute RN experience.
- Telemetry or Progressive Care experience.
- Other Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification.
