Operating Room RN - Full-Time (Day time varied Shift)
Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla
This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position with varied start times of 6:30 AM or 10:30 AM, depending on the department's needs. This position is eligible for a New Hire Bonus of $4K and $3K Relocation Assistance, as well as to participate in Scripps award winning benefits package.

Our OR department features 16 operating rooms, including 4 open-heart suites, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 robotic rooms, 1 eye room, and a dedicated trauma team. We perform 40-50 surgeries daily, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and professional development.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
- One year of RN experience in the Operating Room or successful completion of Scripps' peri-operative training program or an approved external peri- operative training program
- * California Registered Nurse License
- * Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
- * Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- * Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
- * Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred
- * Bachelor's degree in nursing
- * Experience in general, robotics, trauma, orthopedic and gynecological surgeries
- * Trauma experience
- * CNOR
