Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our country club ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial and industrial settings.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums to maintain floor care.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing maintenance or additional cleaning.
- Assist with custodial duties during special events or high-traffic periods as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Skills in buffing floors and performing general floor care are advantageous.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
