Scrubs On Wheels is a rapidly growing company seeking a dedicated an experienced Human Resource Manager. The ideal candidate will perform and oversee all aspects of human resource/payroll processes with integrity and honesty. This position is in person at our Elkhart, IN Corporate Office.
Responsibilities
· Oversee and implement human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, performance and talent management
· Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR, employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice and resources to upper management
· Recruits, interviews, hires and works collaboratively to onboard new team members
· Close partnership with department leads to schedule additional interviews
o Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention
· Maintain confidential personnel files, ensuring all documents are up to date and completed within government guidelines
· Assembles new hire packets and coordinates new-hire orientation for employees
· Handle employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
· Prepare, check and transmit all payroll and commissions, run weekly diems and run payroll related reports
· Provide employee assistance with payroll questions and systems
· Inputs, files, and maintains employee equal opportunity (EEO) forms
· Perform other administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
· Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail required
· Outstanding time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
· Proficient with Microsoft Office; email, excel and word.
Education and Experience
· At least five years of human resource experience required
· Previous management history preferred
· Background in recruiting and interviewing required
· Previous courses in conflict management, employee relations, training and development beneficial.
