Position Summary
We are looking for a safety-minded, experienced Industrial Services Foreman to lead field crews in completing environmental and industrial service projects. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. You’ll be responsible for overseeing job site activity, working alongside your crew, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a crew in completing industrial service tasks such as jetting, power washing, material handling, confined space cleaning, and general labor.
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and client expectations.
- Conduct job site inspections to identify potential hazards, enforce safety protocols, and monitor work quality.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members, fostering a team-oriented and productive work environment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, light equipment, and some heavy machinery.
- Serve as the point of contact in the field, maintaining clear communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
- Promote and model a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and proper PPE use.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial or technical field work, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to operate tools, equipment, and machinery used in industrial services.
- Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- HAZWOPER and confined space certifications are preferred. Don’t have them yet? No problem — SCS provides opportunities to earn your certifications at no cost to you.
