Responsibilities:
- Install various types of flooring, including but not limited to laminate, carpet, vinyl, hardwood, and tile, while adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare installation sites by removing old flooring, leveling subfloors, and managing moisture control as necessary.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently throughout the installation process.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe, managing all tools and materials responsibly.
- Communicate effectively with project team, team members, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to ensure seamless transitions between flooring types.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in flooring installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality work.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of tile laying methods and materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $21.12 - $25.52 per hour
