Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and front-of-house team to facilitate smooth service and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and assisting with any needs during their dining experience.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices is a plus.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to help in various areas as needed, including assisting cooks during peak times.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.49 - $19.42 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
