SD Solutions is seeking a Basic Contract Specialist to join our team at ARPA-H. This role will provide essential support in pre / post-contract management, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations, and managing agreements related to Other Transactions (OTs) and Research & Development (R&D) contracting. The ideal candidate will bring a foundational understanding of the contracting process within the federal landscape and a keen interest in contributing to pivotal health research initiatives at ARPA-H.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the development and review of contract documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs), statements of work (SOWs), and contract modifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for solicitation processes.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring all obligations are met throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and contractors to address issues, negotiate changes, and resolve disputes.
- Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and agency-specific policies in all contracting activities.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and best practices in federal contracting to inform compliance strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, supporting documents, and communications throughout the contracting process.
- Prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance assessments.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of contract management principles and federal acquisition regulations.
