Job descriptions:
The Facility Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all building services covered by the performance work statement (PWS) for a federal facility(s). The ideal candidate will have experience managing federal and/or commercial facilities and subcontracted services for various specialty work, as well as experience in managing multiple simultaneous task orders for building alterations/repairs and renovations. The FM will serve as the primary liaison to the government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or their designee. The facility manager will also be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective work is performed under the terms of the contract. This position offers an attractive salary, bonus, and benefit package. The facility manager will work directly under the supervision of the regional operations director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for the Contractor, representing their interests and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with contract specifications.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the public.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee the performance of subcontractors and ensure they meet contractual obligations.
- Project Management: Oversee all project activities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Contracting Officer, project team members, and subcontractors.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of O&M/Facilities Management experience, with at least 5 years in a project management/supervisory role.
- Expertise: Proven experience in managing building mechanical maintenance operations for buildings of similar size (high rise one million square feet), complexity, and characteristics.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage project teams and delegate tasks.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction practices, building systems, and contract law.
