Responsibilities: The Department of Psychology and Counselor Education at Northern State University seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning August 12, 2024, in its CACREP-accredited MS. Ed. program. The program offers two tracks: Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. Responsibilities will include teaching in-person core and specialty graduate counseling courses, supervision, mentoring, scholarly activity, academic advisement, professional development, and university service. Experience using digital technologies to support in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning is preferred. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution and have experience teaching counseling at the graduate level. The successful candidate will have practical/applied counseling experience and current licensure/certification or be eligible for licensure/certification in the state of SD. Applicants with an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision are preferred; however, ABDs who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. Familiarity with CACREP accreditation is a plus.
