Finance Associate - Private Equity (Boutique firm)

Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly reports and audited year-end financial statements for the general partner & legal entities.
- Works closely with legal and compliance to prepare regulatory filings.
- Oversees cash management of the Funds, including calling capital for investments, monitoring cash flows and establishing controls over cash disbursements.
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting, including supporting documentation for capital accounts, trial balances and other financial reconciliations.
- Assist in the year-end audit process.
- Develop enhanced reporting and transparency to investors through standardized reporting.
- Coordinate with tax advisors and prepares tax returns, Schedule K-1s, and other required tax filings for the general partner & investors.
- Assist with timely ad hoc requests from limited partners.
- Work on special projects, compiling data, and preparing various schedules as requested by the GP Services Controller and Vice President.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- CPA highly preferred
- Big 4 / Public Accounting experience highly preferred
- Private Equity or related industry experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
