Are you looking for a hands-on career in the electrical power industry? SDMyers, a Good Place company, is launching a Field Service Trainee Program to train the next generation of transformer service professionals.
What You’ll Learn:
Installing and servicing InsulMax™, DryMax®, and SampleSafe® equipment
Transformer oil processing, vacuum filling, and fluid sampling
Performing field repairs and recordkeeping
Electrical safety best practices and troubleshooting skills
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining equipment

What We’re Looking For:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
✔ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
✔ Willingness to learn on the job from experienced technicians
✔ Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
✔ CDL or willingness to obtain one (clean driving record required)
✔ Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and teamwork

Work & Travel:
Expect a 40 hour workweek with regular travel
