Established in 1991, SDS Design Associates is a family owned and operated wholesale manufacturer and the original creators of the collegiate car magnet. We design, manufacture and package products such as magnets, decals, stickers and various other licensed and non-licensed products.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior designers and other team members to create visually compelling designs that align with our brand's vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles, a passion for creativity, and the ability to work on various design projects including design creation, packaging, displays, marketing materials, etc. Candidate will also assist with print set ups and large format digital production. This position includes health/vision insurance (HSA), PTO, paid holidays, 401K with company match, and performance bonus pay.
Duties:
- Assist in the development of design concepts.
- Create engaging graphics using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in branding across all platforms by adhering to established color theory and brand guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for design solutions.
- Manage and organize digital assets within content management systems for easy access and collaboration.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
- Opportunity to attend trade shows.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required, additional experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Knowledge of color theory, color management, and photography principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A portfolio showcasing design work is essential for consideration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
