What your day may look like:
- Coordinate and dispatch shuttle drivers for overnight operations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions and support.
- Interact with transportation managers to ensure timely and efficient shuttle runs.
- Monitor shuttle schedules and adjust as needed.
- Track and record shuttle movements and driver activities.
- Handle and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during the shift.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of shuttle operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
What we require:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a dispatching or similar role, preferably in transportation, is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and other relevant computer applications.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
