What your day may look like:
· Use company tractor to run transfers to warehouse, drop yard and retail locations
· Ensure trucks and trailers are ready for unloading, loading, and transport
· Deliver furniture and equipment to client’s retail locations
· Operate yard switcher or tractor to move trailers around the warehouse as needed
· Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment
· Keep equipment clean and operating safely
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
What we require:
· Valid CDL Class A
· Minimum one-year verifiable CDL experience or approved 80-hour CDL training certificate
· Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds
· Clean driving record- no more than 6 points and no DUI/DWI in past 5 years
· Successfully complete road/pre-trip test in company tractor
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card
