Our premiere North Carolina location is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team! This position will help run the daily activities of the Swim Associates and adhere to the Big Blue Swim School processes and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager. 
***No Swim Experience Necessary*** 
 
Assistant Manager Responsibilities: 

• Conduct daily monitoring and review of student progress, check box completion, and move ups to ensure appropriate progression 
• Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to provide appropriate status updates and a high level of customer service 
• Coach and instruct teachers in providing safe and effective swim lessons 
• Ensure teachers are adhering to Big Blue Swim School principals and curriculum 
• Enforce all safety procedures and required certifications 
• Ensure efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, and pump room operations 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Assistant Manager Required Qualifications: 

• Previous management or supervisory experience highly preferred 
• High School Diploma/GED required 
• Lifeguard certifications preferred 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions 
• Must possess the ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions 
• Ability to work in the pool as needed 
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. 
• Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with customers and staff
