We provide wholesale beef, pork, poultry, seafood, cheeses, and restaurant supplies to local area businesses. Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration: Accurately process payroll, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and handle related tax filings.
- Tax Knowledge: Prepare and file necessary tax documents and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Excel Expertise: Create and manage spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
- QuickBooks Management: Oversee financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Human Resources Support: Assist with employee onboarding, maintain personnel records, and manage HR-related tasks.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage invoicing, payments, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Insurance Administration: Handle company and employee insurance policies, claims, and renewals.
- Administrative Duties: Perform additional office tasks to support the smooth operation of the business.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is required.
- Experience in payroll processing and knowledge of tax regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable/payable, HR functions, and insurance processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
