Position Summary:
Sea Love is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Franchise Retail Strategy to drive the growth and success of our franchise locations. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive retail strategies that optimize sales, enhance customer experience, and ensure brand consistency across all franchise locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retail operations, franchise management, and a passion for creating engaging customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic retail plans to drive sales growth, profitability, and brand consistency across all franchise locations.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define and achieve franchise expansion goals.
- Franchise Operations & Support:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operational manuals, training materials, and resources for franchise owners.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchise owners on retail best practices, inventory management, and customer service.
- Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to brand standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement programs for franchise owner training and development.
- Merchandising & Product Management:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the product development team to curate and manage product assortments that align with brand standards and customer preferences.
- Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize product placement and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement seasonal merchandising plans.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support franchise sales and brand awareness.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement local store marketing strategies.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track franchise performance and identify trends.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate franchise performance and strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
- Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize retail strategies.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between franchise owners and the corporate team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the franchise network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a franchise environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful retail strategies.
- Strong understanding of franchise operations, sales, and marketing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Experience with POS systems.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Passion for the Sea Love brand and customer experience.
- Ability to travel.
