Job Overview:
Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality patient care by performing phlebotomy, waived tests, Automated CBCs, EKGs, and Spirometry with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws and other laboratory procedures with attention to detail and patient safety
- Operate EKG machines and perform spirometry tests according to manufacturer's instructions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of lab results and specimens processed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and nurses to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
- Minimum one year experience in a hospital or clinic setting desired; CPR/BLS certification required
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
