Sea Scape Properties is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations in the greater Wilmington, NC area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cleanliness and the ability to manage our housekeeping team.
As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our properties, managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Housekeeping Manager will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests by maintaining impeccable property conditions. As part of your Leadership duties, you will ensure the team is following proper protocol and hold housekeeping staff and vendors accountable when necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Management of the hiring, training, and scheduling of cleaning teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
- Hiring cleaning staff and contract cleaning companies.
- Conduct inspections of properties to ensure cleanliness, proper order, overall appearance, and always strive to model best practices for the team.
- Plan and coordinate weekly cleaning and inspection schedules.
- Managing day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure they meet business needs.
- Motivating team members and resolving any issues that may occur on the job.
- Manage the relationship with cleaning vendors, including coordinating services, addressing issues, and ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
- Ensuring company compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
- Regularly monitor team performance and conduct team meetings.
- Reviewing inspection sheets and reports.
- Schedule annual deep cleans and deep clean inspections of each property.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to train others.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to quickly learn multiple softwares.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning tasks for hotels, resorts, or vacation rental companies.
- At least three years of management experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
