WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment is wholly office based with no noise hazards.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Days/M-F. The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Occasional changes in schedule may be required as special circumstances arise.

SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for invoice processing and various payable functions as required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates internal and external inquiries related to accounts and vendors.
- Matching of invoices to relevant documents.
- Handling the organization and electronic filing of payment support.
- Daily responsibility around high-volume processing.
- Processes payment of vendors & resolves discrepancies.
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Verifying approvals and account coding.
- Comply with AP policies.
- Associate degree in accounting/finance or 5 years of relevant experience required
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe required.
- Experience working in JD Edwards Accounting System preferred.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and has experience prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Must be able to effectively respond to questions from customers, vendors and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
