Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time , on-site radi ologist. Salary is competitive and negotiable starting at mean of MGMA ; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits. Call is 1-in-3 shared with two fellow radiologists; nights are covered by vRad ; e xtra pay for extra call. Candidates interested in remote radiology or a hybrid schedule of remote and on-site radiology will also be considered. Hospital-owned physician practices-treat them as if the MD is the owner. They negotiate a salary based upon MGMA figures, which is paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice as he would if he owned the practice. They do not charge a fee for running the practices. As far as they know, They are the only hospital that operates this way. The physician also receives full benefits including paid malpractice, benefits package, relocation, CME allowance.
