As a Senior Business Development Manager at Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group (SOTG), you will lead the growth of our business in the Latin American region.
We are a globally integrated leader in agricultural commodity trading, processing, and logistics, with milling facilities in 12 locations across 9 countries and 11 trading offices in 10 countries.
Our vertically integrated approach ensures quality, consistency, and supply chain efficiency. We manage bulk freight and chartered vessels, overseeing logistics for both in-house and third-party customers.
The role involves researching and identifying business development opportunities within the Latin American region, exploring and promoting new business ventures, and supporting the efficient implementation of capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Propose business development opportunities and projects within the Latin American region.
- Lead any due diligence efforts for potential mergers or acquisitions.
- Support senior management in executing short- and long-term business plans.
- Maintain effective communication via management reporting from affiliate businesses.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is necessary, along with extensive experience in transaction advisory roles.
