AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) Systems Coordinator

• Install and maintain all AVL Systems across all campuses, including but not limited to the following:
  • Audio consoles (Allen & Heath Avantis and SQ series), speakers, amplifiers, wireless mics and IEMs, video switchers, routers, cameras, lighting fixtures, lighting consoles and software, projectors and TVs, environmental control systems, meeting room/conference systems, acoustic panels, and all related Software including but not limited to ProPresenter, Ableton Live, Klang, WAVES SoundGrid, Dante, Wireless Workbench, DashBoard, ATEM, Onyx, grandMA and Q-SYS.
• Assist ministries and staff with helpdesk/ticket needs in a prompt and accurate manner.
• Provide Tier 1 support for AVL requests from staff, contractors and volunteers.
• Troubleshoot and respond in a timely manner to technical systems problems. Identify more efficient solutions.
• Program and/or run AVL systems and provide support for services, conferences and events as needed.
• Train and work alongside volunteers who serve on the Production/Tech Teams at campuses.
• Go the extra mile, with a smile on your face.
• Regular travel to campuses as needed.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation within the Technology Team.
• Serve in events that occasionally take place outside typical business hours, including nights, weekends, or some holidays.
• Partner with and work closely alongside the Central IT Systems Team (a subset of the Technology Team), as well as the Mount Pleasant Production Team.

• At least 2 years of experience in a church or production environment working with Audio, Video, Lighting and Acoustics.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt where needed.
• Champion of time management: managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and providing information in a timely and effective manner.
• Flexible schedule is needed at times that includes weekends and some holidays.
• Travel required, including local day trips and a few overnight trips throughout the year.
• Demonstrated spiritual gifts to serve others in a team environment.
